Welcome To The Media Center

The school media center serves as a hub for information, learning, and exploration. It provides resources that support the curriculum and enhance students' educational experiences. The media center is a place where students can discover new ideas, explore different perspectives, and develop critical thinking skills. It also serves as a space for collaboration, research, and creativity, supporting students in their academic pursuits and preparing them for success in a rapidly changing world.

Follett Destiny Discover

The Media Center uses Follett’s Destiny Library Manager to maintain our library collection. Patrons access the collection using Destiny Discover, a graphics based circulation software that allows them to search for print and digital content available in their school’s media center. Whether it’s a student or teacher looking for leisure reading/entertainment, materials to support homework or lesson planning, Destiny Discover will help them find what they’re looking for.

Destiny Discover can be accessed by students through Classlink. Look for Destiny Discover on the e-Library tab.

Checkout Policies

CCES students come to the library approximately two times a month for a lesson and book check out.

Students must return at least one book in order to get a new book from the library. A good practice is to know the day of the week your child has library and check to make sure they have their book to return on or before that day!

Students are charged the cost to replace the library-bound books if any are lost or damaged.

How many books students are allowed to check out:
Kindergarten – 1 book
1st – 2 books
2nd - 5th grade – 3 books
